Amroha: Sugarcane farmers under the banner of Bhartiya Kisan Union (Lokshakti) launched agitation at the district collectorate for their several demands including pending cane dues.
The farmers under the leadership of Haji Hasin Ahmad Gaffari, district unit head of BKU launched agitation outside the district collectorate. The agitators later put forward their six demands including clearing of pending cane dues immediately; passing a law that guarantees MSP, cancellation of three farm laws and others. They later submitted the memorandum of their demands to the concerned officer and asked that the government should take immediate steps on their demands.
