The market witnessed scanty demand. Prices
State wise prices today
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3200 to ₹3260/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3280 to 3330/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3255 to 3285/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3280 to 3335/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3580 to 3620/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3301 to 3371/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3401 to 3471/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3375 to 3325/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3425 to 3575/Qntl.

International Market:
Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $513.70/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.88/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.4364 Crude futures traded at Rs.6052 Crude WTI traded at $80.25 a barrel. Sensex closed 396.34 points lower at 60,322.27 whereas Nifty ended 110.25 points lower at 17,999.20.
