I have pleasure in sharing with you that the most awaited and mega event of The Sugar Technologists Association of India (STAI)-81st Annual Convention and International Sugar Expo 2023 is scheduled from 6th – 8th September 2023 at the state-of-the-art Travancore International Convention Center. This will be the first time that STAI will be holding its annual convention at Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), the capital of the southern state of Kerala.
This largest congregation of sugar technocrats is likely to be attended by nearly 800-900 delegates representing different streams of sugar and allied industries from across the country. This will be an excellent opportunity for the delegates to share new experiences, ideas on changing consumer perspective, continued focus on diversification, researches and technologies. The delegates will also have the opportunity to hear and interact with the industry doyens and in accelerating innovation and growth for the sugar and allied industries.
In conjunction with the annual convention, International Sugar Expo 2023 a concurrent ‘Expo of Product and Services for the Sugar and Allied Industries’ is also being organized. The delegates will have an opportunity to meet and interact with nearly 70 service providers ranging from turnkey sugar/distillery plant manufacturers, consultants, speciality chemical manufacturers, technology providers, agri equipment manufacturer to small and medium enterprises. It will be a unique opportunity for the delegates to have face to face interaction with the worlds renowned technology developers for an on spot solution to the queries related to latest products, processes and services.
Called as the Evergreen city of India, Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of the state of Kerala. The city comprises beautiful beaches, long stretches of palm fringed shorelines, windy backwaters and historical structures. Along with its natural and historical significance, the city is also popular for its ancient temples that are renowned for their architecture making Thiruvananthapuram one of the most visited pilgrim centers of India. Exciting cultural programme and sightseeing tours for the accompanying spouses will be organized during the Convention.
