97th SASTA Congress 2025

South African Sugar Technologists’ Association

The South African Sugar Technologists’ Association (SASTA) is a technical society for persons engaged in the South African sugar industry. Its main objective is to promote the exchange of scientific knowledge related to sugarcane agriculture and the processing of sugarcane products.
Apart from attending the association’s annual scientific congresses, SASTA members interact by participating in roadshows, field events, workshops and visits to farms and factories.
