ATAGUA
The Association of Sugar Technicians of Guatemala, began in the year 1970 by the initiative of three Cuban technicians; Senén Viego, Eusebio G. Portela and Miguel Andux, who with great enthusiasm gathered a group of engineers and technicians who work in the mills of the South Coast and founded this Association, which had its first headquarters in the El Salto Mill, Escuintla, Bajos. the auspices of the then owner of that mill, Mr. Roberto Dorión Bacardí.
