Unn (Uttar Pradesh): Farmers continued their ninth day of protest at the Unn Sugar Mill on Thursday over unpaid sugarcane dues, reported Live Hindustan.
As of now, there has been no assurance from the mill administration regarding the payment to the farmers, which has further fueled the anger among them. To press for their demands, farmers formed a 25-member team on Thursday, dedicated to mobilizing fellow farmers for the protest. Jitendra, the Chairman, stated that the demonstration would persist until full payment is received.
