Sugar Output And Sale Up In China

According to the reports of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, China’s sugar output and sales shot high during the first quarter of the season 2018-19, the production went high by 3.4 per cent, on the other hand, the sales boomed by 26 per cent year on year.
However, the report also exhibited that the weather conditions seem to have affected the growth of sugarcane around a few regions on the country.
China is one of the key players in sugar’s world market.  In December 2018, a trade delegation from the Chinese sugar industry held talks with their Indian counterparts at National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories (NFCSF) in Delhi to find out ways of opening up Chinese market for the Indian sugar.
