Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh: In a significant move, the Cooperative Sugarcane Development Committee is transforming its operated fertilizer warehouses into Sugarcane Agro-Clinics, where sugarcane farmers will receive free guidance and advice. The initiative is set to establish 17 such clinics across the district.
By upgrading these warehouses into Sugarcane Agro-Clinics, the cooperative aims to offer valuable assistance to the farmers. The 17 planned clinics will be spread across Pilibhit Samiti, Jogither, Churrasakatpur, Beesalpur, Ganna Vikas Parishad Purnapur, Majhola, Barkheda, Baldevpur, Bilsanda, Peelibheet Chini Mill area, Amaria, Gajaraula, and Khamariya Pul.
District Cane Officer Khushiram revealed that at these Agro-Clinics, farmers will not only have access to fertilizers but also receive valuable advice from supervisors. The move is expected to benefit more than two and a half lakh sugarcane families in the district. The Sugarcane Agro-Clinics are slated to commence operations shortly, offering farmers much-needed support and expertise for enhanced crop productivity.
