New Delhi: Bihar Industry Minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said that the government has received ethanol investment proposals of Rs 30,322 crore as state has become favourite industrial destination.
He was speaking at a press conference to share the details about the ‘Investors Meet’ organized to attract investment in the state.
“We have received investment proposals worth Rs 30,322 crore under the Bihar Ethanol Production Promotion Policy 2021. Bihar will soon become the country’s ethanol hub as 17 ethanol production units will be set up in different parts of the state in the first phase. The first-ever greenfield grain-based ethanol project in the country has been set up in Purnea after launching Ethanol Policy 2021,” minister further added.
