Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on September 28, 2020 at 592.97 points high at 37,981.63. Nifty ended 177.30 points high at 11,227.55.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on September 25, 2020 at 835.06 points high at 37,388.66. Nifty ended 244.70 points high at 11,050.25.
IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank, Tata Motors and Power Grid were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Wipro, HUL, Nestle and Infosys.
