Mumbai: Equity benchmarks Sensex and Nifty started the session on a high note on Monday. At 10:12 am, the BSE S&P Sensex was up by 470.84 points at 39,167.89 while the Nifty 50 gained by 126.90 points at 11,543.85.
IndusInd Bank, TCS, Tata Steel, ICICI Bank, Infosys and Axis Bank were among the top gainer on the Sensex chart.
Equity benchmark indices ended higher on last trading session on Thursday. Sensex closed on October 1, 2020, at 629.12 points high at 38,697.05. Nifty ended 169.40 points high at 11,416.95.
