Haldaur, Uttar Pradesh: In a meeting organized to discuss farmers issue, Bharatiya Kisan Union has raised an issue of pending cane arrears and sugarcane price.
According to the news report published in Amarujala.com, Ram Avtar Singh, State general secretary of BKU, said, “We want sugar mills to clear pending cane dues before commencement of the crushing season. Also, the sugarcane price should be hike upto Rs 500 per quintal.”
