Lucknow: Following the incidents of the deaths of workers in the sugar mills due to the electricity-related breakdowns and similar accidents, the Uttar Pradesh government has instructed the sugar mills to take precautionary measures before starting operations.
The Government Order (GO) has been issued by the Sugar Industry and Cane Development Department to the sugar mills to take steps in this regard.
Through this GO, the Cooperative and Corporation sugar mills of the state have been directed for taking protective measures to avoid fault and mishappening occurring due to improper earthing on main panel board and DB, moisturized conditions around electrical boards and improper jointing of cables and lack of pest control measures.
