Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on October 14, 2020, at 169.23 points high at 40,794.74. Nifty ended 36.55 points high at 11,971.05.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on October 13, 2020, at 31.71 points high at 40,625.51. Nifty ended 3.55 points high at 11,934.50.
Bajaj Finserv, SBI Life Insurance, Bajaj Finance, ICICI Bank and IndusInd Bank were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Wipro, NTPC, ONGC, Coal India and Tata Motors.
