Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on October 23, 2020, at 127.01 points higher at 40,685.50. Nifty ended 33.90 points high at 11,930.35.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on October 22, 2020, at 148.82 points lower at 40,558.49. Nifty ended 41.20 points low at 11,896.45.
Maruti Suzuki, M&M, Tata Steel, Power Grid Corp and Bajaj Auto were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included UltraTech Cement, Shree Cements, HCL Tech, HUL and GAIL.
