Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on October 29, 2020, at 172.61 points lower at 39,749.85. Nifty ended 58.80 points low at 11,670.80.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on October 28, 2020, at 599.64 points lower at 39,922.46. Nifty ended 159.80 points low at 11,729.60.
Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement, Shree Cements, HCL Tech and Kotak Mahindra Bank were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were L&T, Titan Company, ONGC, Adani Ports and Tata Motors.
