Kurukshetra, Haryana: 37th Sugarcane crushing season of Shahabad cooperative sugar mill began on Tuesday. The inauguration of the season was done by Shahabad MLA and Haryana Sugarfed chairman Ram Karan Kala. According to the news report published in The Times of India, he said, “Farmers will not face any issue in sugarcane supply to the sugar mill and also get the timely payment of the bill.”
Virender Chaudhary, Managing Director, Shahabad sugar mill said, “The mill has set a target of crushing 80 lakh quintals of sugarcane for this season with the recovery of 11 per cent and producing 8.80 lakh quintals of sugar.”
