Equity benchmark Sensex dropped in early trade on Friday. At 10:14 am, the 30-share BSE index was trading 130 points lower at 43,226.42.
Similarly, the broader NSE Nifty slipped 34.80 points to 12,656.00.
IndusInd Bank was the top loser in the Sensex pack followed by SBI, L&T, Axis Bank, HDFC twins, Kotak Bank and ICICI Bank. On the other hand, Asian Paints, Reliance Industries, Titan, Bajaj Finance and Sun Pharma were trading with gains.
