Budaun, Uttar Pradesh: Sugar mills have started crushing season in Uttar Pradesh, but few of them have yet not cleared the cane dues. According to the news report published in Jagran.com, through video conferencing, sugarcane minister Suresh Rana instructed the sugar mills to pay 100 per cent cane payment. He also asked mills to follow covid-19 guidelines during crushing operations.
The cooperative sugar mill from Shekhapur assured the minister that mill administration is taking care of cane growers. Sugarcane weighing and crushing are going on, and payment will be started soon.
