Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh: Four out of five sugar mills in the district have cleared total cane dues of the crushing season 2019-20. These include Dhadha, Sewarhi, Khadda and Ramkola sugar mills. Kaptanganj sugar mill is yet to pay the full payment.
The sugarcane department has given a deadline of one week to the sugar mill to clear dues and also warned of action in case of non-payment.
According to the news report published in Jagran.com, District sugarcane officer Ved Prakash Singh said that four sugar mills have paid 100 per cent cane dues. The Kaptanganj sugar mill has been a one-week extension for clear cane dues. In case of non-payment, further action will be taken.
