Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended flat amid volatility. Sensex closed on 2nd December at 37.40 points lower at 44,618.04. Nifty ended 4.70 points high at 13,113.75.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 1st December at 505.72 points higher at 44,655.44. Nifty ended 140.10 points high at 13,109.05.
Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, HDFC, Shree Cements and Britannia Industries were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were GAIL, ONGC, Asian Paints, Titan Company and Adani Ports.
