Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh: Satha sugar mill will start cane crushing operations from December 10. Mill has started the trial. This year more than Rs 1.30 crore has been spent on repairing the machinery.
According to the media report, in the previous season, the mill had started the season on November 29. Before starting crushing, the mill had spent crores of rupees for repair and maintenance work.
The cane crushing capacity of the mill is 12,500 quintals per day. However, there is a demand to increase the crushing capacity.
