Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended record closing highs after RBI left the key rates unchanged and also maintained its accommodative stance.. Sensex closed on 4 December at 448.82 points higher at 45,081.47. Nifty ended 124.65 points high at 13,258.55.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 3rd December at 14.61 points higher at 44,632.65. Nifty ended 20.15 points high at 13,133.90.
Adani Ports, ICICI Bank, Hindalco, UltraTech Cement and Sun Pharma were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Life, BPCL and HCL Tech.
