Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended high today. Sensex closed on 09 December at 494.99 points higher at 46,103.50. Nifty ended 136.15 points high at 13,529.10.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 8 December at 181.54 points higher at 45,608.51. Nifty ended 37 points high at 13,392.95.
UPL, Asian Paints, IOC, Kotak Mahindra Bank and HDFC Bank were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Hindalco, Shree Cements, UltraTech Cement, Wipro and Grasim.
