Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 16 December at 403.29 points higher at 46,666.46. Nifty ended 114.85 points high at 13,682.70.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 15 December at 9.71 points higher at 46,263.17. Nifty ended 9.70 points high at 13,567.85.
HDFC, Hindalco, Titan, Divis Laboratories and ONGC were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included ICICI Bank, UltraTech Cement, NTPC, Gail and Tech Mahindra.
