Sugarcane farmers faced problems as the Doiwala sugar mill suddenly stopped operations on Monday. The mill was closed for five hours for repair and maintenance work.
According to the media report, the farmers stated that they faced problems as the mill suddenly stopped operations and they were not informed about this by the mill administration.
This was for the first time the mill stopped operations without informing farmers. Earlier the mill administration used to inform us in advance before halting crushing process, said farmers.
According to the mill administration, the mill was closed on Monday from 11 am to 4 pm and resumed operations immediately.
