Equity benchmark Sensex gained in early trade on Tuesday. At 10:21 am, the 30-share BSE index was trading 147.10 points higher at 51,498.94.
Similarly, the broader NSE Nifty increased 58.00 points to 15,173.80 in opening deals.
HCL Tech was the top gainer in the Sensex pack followed by Infosys, Titan, Asian Paints, ONGC, Reliance Industries and Tech Mahindra.
On the other hand, SBI, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank and IndusInd Bank were among the laggards.
