Baghpat: Member of Parliament Satyapal Singh met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Lucknow on Tuesday and discussed several issues related to the sugar sector in the state.
During the meeting, he demanded that the government should take steps to increase the crushing capacity of Baghpat sugar mill. The increasing crushing capacity of the sugar mill will benefit the farmers from the district, he said.
MP also raised the issues related to the pending cane dues by the Malakpur, Kinauni and Modinagar sugar mill. The government should take steps to ensure that the mills clear the pending cane dues to the farmers on time.
