Mumbai: Benchmark indices closed low today. Sensex closed on 19 February at 434.93 points lower at 50,889.76. Nifty ended 137.20 points low at 14,981.75.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 18 February at 379.14 points lower at 51,324.69. Nifty ended 89.90 points low at 15,119.
ONGC, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Steel, SBI and Tata Motors were among the major losers on the Nifty, while the gainers were UPL, IndusInd Bank, Dr Reddy’s Labs, GAIL and HUL.
