Mumbai: Benchmark indices trading higher today. At 15:36 pm, Sensex was trading at 210 points higher at 49,962.34. Nifty was trading 57 points high at 14,765.45.
The cash and futures markets of the NSE were shut following a technical glitch. NSE and BSE have extended the trading timing till 5 pm for today.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 22 February at 1,145.44 points lower at 49,744.32. Nifty ended 306.05 points low at 14,675.70.
