Mumbai: Benchmark indices closed higher today. Sensex closed on 2nd March at 447.05 points higher at 50,296.89. Nifty ended 157.55 points high at 14,919.10.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 1st March at 749.85 points higher at 49,849.84. Nifty ended 232.40 points high at 14,761.55.
Tata Motors, M&M, Wipro, Adani Ports and NTPC were among the major Nifty gainers, while losers were ONGC, HDFC, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Coal India and Power Grid Corp.
