Mumbai: Benchmark indices closed lower today. Sensex closed on 5th March at 440.76 points lower at 50,405.32. Nifty ended 142.65 points low at 14,938.10.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 4th March at 598.57 points lower at 50,846.08. Nifty ended 164.85 points low at 15,080.75.
JSW Steel, Hindalco Industries, HDFC, Tata Steel and Tata Motors were among the top Nifty lowers, while gainers were UltraTech Cement, Shree Cements, Adani Ports, Grasim Industries and Dr Reddy’s Labs.
ONGC & GAIL were among the top Nifty Gainers, while IndusInd, Wipro, Tata Motors were top Losers
