Rehra Bazar (Balrampur): Sugarcane crop grown over four-acre land in Itawa village burnt to ashes due to short circuit caused by the high tension cable passing through the field.
According to Rehra Bazar police station, the field belongs to one Rajendra Yadav. As per his statement, the short circuit through the high tension cable passing overhead his field ignited the fire to the sugarcane crop. This resulted in burning into ashes his field as well as his neighbour’s field. The villagers rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
