Mumbai: Benchmark indices closed lower today. Sensex closed on 15th March at 397.00 points lower at 50,395.08. Nifty ended 101.45 points low at 14,929.50.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 12th March at 487.43 points lower at 50,792.08. Nifty ended 143.85 points low at 15,030.95.
Divis Labs, Hero MotoCorp, Coal India, Bajaj Finserv and GAIL were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers included JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra, Power Grid Corp and IndusInd Bank.
