State sugarcane minister Suresh Rana has claimed that the government has cleared the highest cane dues in last four years as compared with the other parties that ruled the state previously.
In an interview with a news channel, he said that his government has always worked for the betterment of sugarcane farmers. Our government has cleared the highest pending cane dues in the last four year. BSP and SP had closed 29 sugar mills in their tenure whereas in the last four years we have renewed more than two dozens of sugar mills. During the coronavirus pandemic we have successfully operated all the sugar mills for the welfare of sugarcane farmers and have made a record sugar production, he said.
