Riga: Pappu Yadav alias Rajesh Roshan, national president of Janadhikar Party has demanded the revival of the Riga sugar mill. More than 25 members of his party are on a hunger strike for the last two days demanding revival of the mill.
Addressing the gathering of farmers and workers at Kisan Bhavan in Riga, Yadav said, “Only 25 members of our party are on hunger strike but they are representing 40,000 cane farmers and 700 employees of the mill. The fight is between the government and the farmers and we are only representatives of the farmers.”
At the request of Pappu Yadav, fasting was ended. He also announced that Bihar would be closed on 26 March.
