Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on 05th April at 870.51 points lower at 49,159.32. Nifty ended 229.55 points low at 14,637.80.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 01st April at 520.68 points higher at 50,029.83. Nifty ended 176.65 points high at 14,867.35..
Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Bank, SBI, Eicher Motors and M&M were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were HCL Technologies, TCS, Britannia Industries, Wipro and Infosys.
