Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended flat amid high volatility. Sensex closed on 06th April at 42.07 points higher at 49,201.39. Nifty ended 45.70 points high at 14,683.50.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 05th April at 870.51 points lower at 49,159.32. Nifty ended 229.55 points low at 14,637.80.
Adani Ports, Tata Consumer Products, Asian Paints, JSW Steel and SBI Life Insurance were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Power Grid Corp, Eicher Motors, Grasim Industries, Axis Bank and IndusInd Bank.
