Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 07th April at 460.37 points higher at 49,661.76. Nifty ended 135.55 points high at 14,819.05.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 06th April at 42.07 points higher at 49,201.39. Nifty ended 45.70 points high at 14,683.50.
JSW Steel, Wipro, Britannia Industries, SBI Life Insurance and SBI were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Adani Ports, Tata Consumer Products, UPL, NTPC and Titan Company.
