Karnal: Karnal Co-operative sugar mill has become operational bringing in relief to the cane farmers from the region. The mill will cater to the 130 villages in the vicinity.
The capacity of the new mill has now increased from 2,200 tonnes crushed per day (TCD) to 3,500 TCD. The crushing capacity of the mill will be further expanded to 5000 TCD. The mill is also expected to generate 18 MW power that will help in increasing income of the mill as well as cane farmers.
