Mawana: Mawana sugar mill has cleared the pending cane dues worth Rs 17.50 crore to the cane farmers. The mill has crushed 181.11 lakh quintal sugarcane till April 17 during the ongoing season which is 13.63 lakh quintals more than last year.
According to the news report published in Livehindustan.com, the mill’s Senior General Manager (Sugarcane and Administration) Pramod Balyan appealed to sugarcane farmers to take up the cane harvesting activities after they receive SMS from the sugar mill. He asked the concerned farmers and harvesters including employees to take precautions amid the coronavirus pandemic.
