Bareilly: Covid-19 pandemic has spread across the villages in the country and has posed a challenge before the administration to tackle the infection. The sugar mills have decided to assist the administration by helping them to sanitize villages in their respective jurisdiction.
The sugar mills from Bareilly have prepared a plan to sanitize 1193 Gram Panchayats. The government has also ordered the DM to seek the cooperation of sugar mills in sanitization.
Rizwan Ahmed, upper district Panchayat Raj, said “In village panchayats, sanitization will be done in collaboration with sugar mills. Instructions have been given to start the campaign immediately. The campaign will be reviewed daily through virtual meetings.”
