Nakodar: Sugarcane farmers from Nakodar, Shahkot and Phillaur subdivision are unhappy over the Nakodar Cooperative Sugar Mill not clearing their cane dues of season 2019-20.
According to the news report published in Punjabnewsexpress.com, the farmers have alleged that the mill had delayed their dues even after it has declared that the mill will be responsible to clear the bills within six months of their issuance.
C S Bhatia, managing director of the mill told Punjabnewsexpress.com said that Rs 4 crore amount is still awaited from the Union Government in connection with sugar export
