Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 07th May at 256.71 points higher at 49,206.47. Nifty ended 98.35 points high at 14,823.15.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 06th May at 272.21 points higher at 48,949.76. Nifty ended 106.95 points high at 14,724.80.
Tata Steel, Hindalco Industries, JSW Steel, Adani Ports & SEZ and SBI Life Insurance were the top Nifty50 gainers, while Tata Consumer Products, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, Eicher Motors and UPL were the top index losers.
