Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 24th May at 111.42 points higher at 50,651.90. Nifty ended 9.05 points high at 15,184.35.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 21th May at 975.62 points higher at 50,540.48. Nifty ended 269.25 points high at 15,175.30.
IOC, BPCL, SBI, Larsen and Toubro and Axis Bank were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Shree Cements, JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Britannia Industries and Tata Consumer Products.
