Mumbai: Equity benchmark Sensex rallied over 300 points in early trade on Friday.
At 10:11 am, the 30-share BSE index was trading 298.12 points higher at 51,413.34, and the broader NSE Nifty surged 98.60 points to 15,436.45.
ONGC was the top gainer in the Sensex pack followed by Reliance Industries, SBI, IndusInd Bank, HDFC, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank.
On the other hand, Sun Pharma, Dr Reddy’s, M&M, Bajaj Auto and Nestle India were among the laggards.
