Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on 08th July at 485.82 points lower at 52,568.94. Nifty ended 151.75 points lower at 15,727.90.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 7th July at 193.58 points higher at 53,054.76. Nifty ended 62.55 points higher at 15,880.80.
Tata Motors, JSW Steel, Bajaj Auto, Hindalco Industries and ONGC were among the top lower on the Nifty. Top gainers were Tech Mahindra, SBI Life Insurance, Eicher Motors, IndusInd Bank and Shree Cements.
