Equity benchmark Sensex advanced over 100 points in early trade on Thursday.
At 10:25 am, the 30-share BSE index was trading 143.74 points higher at 53,047.79 in initial deals, while the broader NSE Nifty rose 39.35 points to 15,893.30.
L&T was the top gainer in the Sensex pack followed by HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, HDFC Bank, Dr Reddy’s and UltraTech Cement.
On the other hand, M&M, Asian Paints, Maruti, ITC, Titan and Infosys were among the laggards.
