Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on 20th July at 354.89 points lower at 52,198.51. Nifty ended 120.30 points lower at 15,632.10.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 19th July at 586.66 points lower at 52,553.40. Nifty ended 171.00 points lower at 15,752.40.
Hindalco, IndusInd Bank, Tata Steel, NTPC and Bharti Airtel were the top lowers on the Nifty. While top gainers included Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement, HUL, Grasim and Maruti Suzuki.
