Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 12th August at 318.05 points higher at 54,843.98. Nifty ended 82.15 points higher at 16,364.40.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 11th August at 28.73 points lower at 54,525.93. Nifty ended 2.15 points higher at 16,282.25.
Power Grid Corp, Tech Mahindra, Tata Motors, HCL Technologies and L&T were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Eicher Motors, Grasim Industries, ONGC, Dr Reddy’s Labs and IndusInd Bank.
